In this week's North American Ag Spotlight Chrissy Wozniak sits down with Joe Guzzardi of the Institute for Sound Public Policy to talk about the current border security crisis, and his ideas for what the ag industry could do about it.
With more than 30 years of immigration analysis; Joe Guzzardi is a nationally syndicated columnist, California native, and a former English as a second language (ESL) teacher whose students were migrant farm workers.
Rebranded in early 2023 from Progressives for Immigration Reform. the Institute for Sound Public Policy is an umbrella group that includes, among others, US Tech Workers, Doctors without Jobs, and Project for Immigration Reform. The Institute for Sound Public Policy is an organization with a reputation for fixing big problems through advocacy and activism. We are not a think tank. Rather, we partner with public and private nonprofit entities and community activists to formulate and implement sound policy at federal, state and local levels of government.
